Fastnet Race 2013 - This biannual race traditionally starts at the end of Cowes Week, and will next be run in 2013. With 300 boats competing over the 608 mile course, it is one of the toughest events on the sailing calendar. From the start line at Cowes the fleet heads west, rounding the famous Fastnet Rock off the south west coast of Ireland, before making for the finish line in Plymouth. If you would like to join the crew on Quantum Leap for the 2013 race, click here for more details.
