Typical Weekend Sailing Adventure

The Solent, with its extensive yet sheltered waters offers some of the best sailing around. This sailing adventure suitable for anyone, whether you are ‘learning the ropes’ or looking to build on existing sailing experience. Over a weekend everyone will have the opportunity to develop their skills and to participate in the running of the yacht. We are sure that it will give you a real taste for sailing.

Locations visited will vary, depending upon weather, tide and crew preferences, but could include Chichester harbour, Cowes, Yarmouth, Lymington, Brighton or Poole.

Typical programme:
Friday 17:00 Meet your skipper and other crew onboard at Haslar Marina. After a safety briefing and introduction to the boat, slip moorings and head out into the Solent for an introductory sail. Return to Haslar or another location to share a late evening meal together.
Saturday Up for breakfast at 7:30 and then out to spend the morning sailing around the Eastern Solent, anchoring for lunch at Chichester or maybe off Bembridge. In the afternoon explore more of the Solent, arriving at Lymington or Yarmouth early evening. Share a relaxing meal together onboard and possibly explore the town a little.
Sunday After another hearty breakfast, sail down the Needles Channel, getting a close up view of the famous rocks. Sail round the south of the Isle of Wight, experiencing real open water. Arrive back at Haslar late afternoon, departing for home around 17:00.

All food onboard - meals, snacks, hot beverages and soft drinks - will be provided.

This itinerary is just an example of what your cruise could include. Each adventure sailing cruise will have its own bespoke programme. Just let us know if there is something specific that you would like to include and we will do what we can to incorporate it.
