Sometime called Distance Sailing Cruises or Mileage Builders, these are open to anyone, whatever your level or experience to date. They provide an opportunity to join other enthusiastic crew members on a sailing trip, varying in length from a weekend up to a week or 9 day long cruise.

From our base in Haslar Marina, Gosport, you will have the chance to visit some fantastic locations, such as like France, the Channel Islands or the South West Coast; all with the assurance of an experience skipper onboard to guide you. There is nothing quite like crossing the channel under your own steam, and then enjoying a freshly baked croissant or a meal in French cafe to make a very special day.

The programme for each cruise will depend upon the weather but the skipper will ensure that the preferences and experience of the crew are taken into account. Please see our sample itineraries to get an idea of the sort of programme that your Sailing Adventure might follow. Options include a weekend in the Solent or along the South coast, a long weekend, 5 or 7 day cross channel cruise to France and/or the Channel Islands or, new for 2012, a 9 day West Country adventure exploring the coast of Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
