About Quantum Sailing

Quantum Sailing is a small, family run business, operating out of Haslar marina, Gosport. We focus on providing a high quality, flexible, personalised service. Our aim is simply to be the best at what we do and provide a quality of experience and value for money that cannot be matched by larger sailing schools.

We want to share our passion, so we do all that we can to make sailing as inclusive and accessible as possible. We think that every sailing experience should be an adventure. Whether it is crossing the channel under your own steam or spending an evening at anchor in a quiet estuary, we want everyone who comes on board to have an unforgettable time.

Sailing is a fantastic sport and a great medium for bringing people together. Sailing as a family, a group of friends/colleagues or making new friends on one of our open events, it is a great way to build relationships. The inspiration for Quantum Sailing came from a memorable experience with my teanage son, sharing a watch the early hours of the morning in middle of a windy English channel. You can read about our experience in the Spring 2010 Quantum Network newsletter. We want to make similar opportunities available to others.

We are keen to encourage novices as much as salty old sea dogs and you will find our skipper/instructor knowledgeable, patient and encouraging. Whatever your experience to date, we are sure that you will enjoy sailing with us and will find that you can learn and develop your sailing skills with a challenge that is tailored appropriately to your needs.
